    CPU : INTEL E6600 Core2Duo @ 2.4 Ghz overclocked @ 3.5 Ghz
    RAM : 2 GB OCZ Flex XLC (PC2-9200)
    VGA : EVGA Nvidia 8800 GTX (768MB) PCI-E
    HDD : 2 x WD Raptor 150GB
    DVD : PLEXTOR 860-SA
    PSU : ETASIS 750W

    Will this config work with Kakewalk (Lion 10.7.2) and if so which M/B should I select?

    Is the 8800GTX fully supported, and at what max res?

    My M/B can boot from an external USB Hdd but not from a USB Stick. Is there any fix for this?

    Have you actually tested this, because it makes no sense. The USB drivers present both devices in the same way to the computer.

    Same bootable image on both hdd & stick, but only hdd boots. Maybe it has to do with the AHCI version 1.20 of my bios which supports only hdds and cdroms. Who knows?

    AHCI manages SATA ports, not USB ports. Have you tried another flash drive?

    I have only one 8GB stick, the others are 1 or 2 GBs which is not enough for Lion with Unibeast in order to do additional tests.

    If you've got a spare HDD use that to install.
