Kakewalk 4 Installation on P55-USB3

  • Hi Guys
I need your help. I had a system running 10.6.8 without problems. To update i fired up kakewalk 4 and instastalled it on my volume and choose my gigabyte motherboard. So far no problems.
Then i restarted my machine and stuck to the apple logo. Can someone tell me what to do now ?
I am desperate. Thank you in advance for your help edit: when i start with -v verbose i see it ia stopping on PCI configuration begin

  • On my machine, the last thing before the computer gets to the login screen is the "PCI Configuration Begin". How long do you wait at that message before you give up. I have heard that some computers take a very long time to boot, so maybe it just needs more time.

  • use npci=0x2000 it will get you past the pci config error but mine then stalls out after FakeFCM initialized
